You can also pick diatomaceous earth at a pool supply...a lot of pool filters use the stuff.

Thank you
Ken
thank you
Ken is right on with the 'yellow block'...too much room for error using that stuff
Other places for d earth
meijers...The main ingredient in a product called Ant Killer
hardware stores, yes I have bought it there
as before mentioned
pool supply stores
many pet stores carry the stuff for the filteration systems
you also can contact many of the pest control companies they also use the stuff <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
its very safe and works quite well
I would remove all water bottles or bowls when using the stuff
the dryer the better, unless your treating a blood python or many of the arboreal snakes that require some humidity, with these I would leave in a bowl that is too small to soak in but not too small to drink out of
One word ..I have never had a snake have any problems injesting this stuff, I have used it on supposedly 'mite free' hatchlings
peace

I was wondering if that was what this stuff was..Thanx for the &quot;enlightenment&quot;.

It's not something I'd use to treat a snake that I wanted to keep alive &amp; undamaged. Used properly, they're okay, but there's too much potential for overexposure and resulting neurological damage</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>

AND Neither would I! Have heard tooo many horror stories from people using it myself in the past even.

John.. Thanx for all the info !
YUP.. I'd agree with ya on this one 100%
