It said on the package that the address wss undeliverabe because there was no such known address. Thast how i know it was a bogus address. And I did check tracking. If it was lost in transit then I would have sent a replacement. But it was not lost. Since it was wrong address I do not feel I had to replace the snake with a second pair. This is also after Dan threatened me from the get go. I took the initiative to call him and explain you can get a lot more out of people with a little honey. He did not have to came across so threatening when he does not even know me.

I think you all forget I decided to replace the snake after several months though my good heart. I did not have to replace them. Dan was completely in the wrong to even ask for a replacemnet when I did not hear from him .

BTW Dan it was early summer 2003 that I first sent you the snake. Your very first email to me was several months later in Feb. 2004. Before then i heard NOTHING from you and I assumed the snake was fine. Nice guy that I am I replaced the snake the following season in 2004 with a pair of hypos.

Oh and Dan I sent the snakes to you overnight express. That was $17.85 and NOT $5.00. Lies , lies, lies..

If you have the original receipt why don't you post a pic of it here? It says the price I paid for shipping right on the label.

Ak far as my packing I will stand behind it because out of the thousands of shipment made i have an excellent record. In the last 5 years I lost two. One was to Dan Felice. The other was lost in transit and finally arrived a week later. That I replaced with a better snake just like I did with Dan. Those are my only two bad experiences out of many years and thousands of snakes. i gurantee live arrival and that the snakes are healthy , fat and feeding.

This is a pic of the actual snake. It even has a couple meals in it in this pic.
Dan do you deny this is the snake I sent you?? If so post a pic of your. You said you have pics and lets compare.

How is it inhumane to ship overnight with one carrier over another? they both get there in less than 24 hours. Most of the time the snakes are dropped off at 5pm and arrive before noon the next day. thats less than 24 hrs. Please explain how that is inhumane?

Judging from the way you describe your shipping methods...inhumane is the best description I could come up with.

The point isn't sinking in at all.....what you are doing puts our hobby at risk. You don't seem to care about that at all.

Its NOT illegal to ship via UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL or the other airlines.....it IS ILLEGAL to ship via the Postal Service. How can this be made any clearer?

so now you have lost 2 shipments in the mail huh rainer? this morning you said i was the only one this had happened to and it was my fault as i gave you 'bad' address. i bought this house almost 10 years ago rainer and as far as i know, the address has never changed. AND you did not replace my $145 super flame w/ a better snake, i asked for 2 normal $50
hypos, saving you money and you agreed. i never saw those snakes. ever. and yes, that snake in the pic is what i PAID for BUT not what i receieved. the snake i got had black all over it and was a nice peninsular looking king, not much more. and it was not robust in the least, just the opposite looking like it had never eaten a single meal. i thought i could save it and worked on it for 6 months. it died anyway. we came home from being out one night and it was dead. that's when i wrote the 1rst email. not the 7 to 8 months you have it currently stretched to rainer. you pretty good at mixing up & muddling facts i've noticed. you're ship methods should be so good. you don't even practice what you preach in the shipping forum for God's sake!?! and for a guy who states he produces 1000 kings a year, you'd think you might be able to get just one good to a paying customer. unfortunately for me that hasn't been the case. you're trying to make me look like the bad guy but this thread is about YOU rainer, not me. the only thing i'm guilty of is foolishly sending you money......dan felice

First, I should not have agreed to replace a snake that you did not contact
me about for 5 months. You been around since the 60's I would think that you
do know about certain snake edicate. The snake was in your pocession and you
say it did not eat but a couple times and then languished. Why didn't you
contact me a week later or two weeks later? Why wait and work with an animal
for 5 months to see if you could save it and then complain to the seller?

Second I was doing you a favor and being a nice guy to send you your
replacement. I even paid for the shipping a second time.AL, this was in
spite of you nasty first email. Can you imagine selling a snake to someone
and then 5 months later getting an email like that? I am sure you would not
respond in like manner.

Third the snakes were sent in a insulated box. I only ship in cardboard when
the weather in the destination area is permitting.

Fourth your address that you gave me was not a deliverable address (whatever
that means) so it was your fault. Now you blame me that the snakes came back
dead?

Just how far do you want someone to go for customer satifaction? I sent you
three snakes and paid for two deliveries.

Then there is you first email to me that you started off by threatening me
without even ASKING me if I would replace it. I called you and told you I am
not motivated by threats. You apologized and said you were drunk when you
wrote it. I overlooked it and said I would replace anyway. Funny thing what
is, what bothered me the most was your insinutaion that I sent you a bad
snake. I even sent you a picture of the snake before you purchased it and i
still have the pic of the original snake. It looks very fat and healthy for
a newborn. You can see the bulge of its last meal in the pic as well.

You conatacted me several months later to remind me of my promise to replace
the snake. I agreed to sending you two nice hypos for the one because they
were less money.

Now i get this email from you?

I have been doing this for a long time as well. You are my only bad
customer. I have had no complaints and if i did I am the type to bend over
backwards to fix the probelm because I am in a hobby and not a business and
thats the way I just am. I love the hobby and i wish everyone was as good as
me in treating other herpers.


This hobby seems to attract a lot of bad people. I am not one of them even
though you would like to make me out to be one. I am not the type to rip
anyone off (like you are insinuating) and I really resent that.

Dan it seems to me you are the one with a problem and your emails to me
speak volumes. The way you come across is not good.

I wish you would not go with your threat to go public because any accusation
is bad. But in this case I cannot be pushed around like you have been doing.
