Wow those are some really messed up tegus. You'd have to discount them alot more than that. I've seen albinos sell for less than that and adult males in perfect shape go for $500 shipped. You can't even breed that male. If a female turns around and bites him reopening the scares it could lead to some nasty infections if they're not already one there. The second one isn't as bad but the first one should see a vet asap, i mean its jaw even looks bad,

Its really ashame because they could be some nice animals. Especially the one male, but he looks like he got some of the worst abuse.

Well I would love to take that first male as a pet, seeing as I do not breed. Let me know about the price.

those guys are REALLY torn up... You can buy young blues for $350 shipped... If your blues were cheaper I would prolyl buy one as a pet... But that's too much for torn up animals...

Come on guys, he knows that, and that has been stated way to much and with tender loving care and a nice enclosure they will be just fine.

I understand that... But would u really pay $650-1300 for an animal that isn't worth it?? That's like saying, would u pay $10k for a $5k car that needs serious body work?

Having two blues myself and been working with tegus for awhile, im just warning anyone who is interested in getting them what they are getting into. Reptiles take along time to heal and they also take a long time to get sick. Plus need i say vets are expensive and not always willing to work with large reptiles. The second one like i said looks alright, but $700... that is really really high. I just don't want a newbie to come by and get in over their head.

Hey if he can get it, more power to him. As long as the buyer knows upfront what they are getting. Im not saying I think they are worth near what he is asking, or that I would sell animals in that shape, but there's a buyer out there for everything.
