PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL ANYONE ON MY BOAS SOLD PAGE AND CHECK FOR YOURSELF. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BUSINESS OR ETHICS. IT'S PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT HAVE CAUSED THIS SITE PROBLEMS. I don't think that it is the fact that Gilbert is not buying that is aggravating the populace. &nbsp;It is the way he is going about it that is abusive. &nbsp;I posted earlier in this thread that I had a had a similar situation with Gilbert earlier this year regarding some Graybands. &nbsp;What has been demonstrated by this ongoing thread is that he makes a habit of this behavior. &nbsp;

We all lose sales and have deals fall through. &nbsp;That's the business and if you can't deal with it you shouldn't be doing it. &nbsp;I, for one, thoroughly enjoy talking to other people in the hobby. &nbsp;I have no problem with a lengthy phone call or a string of E-mails that ask a plethora of questions. &nbsp;I am proud of what I produce and sell and like discussing it.

Gilbert, however, has taken it to a new level. &nbsp;You can see this in Bill Cagles post. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; "DON'T SELL THE MALE! &nbsp;I"VE GOT CASH!" &nbsp;This was the same line he used on me and, apparently, others. &nbsp;At this point you have asked a breeder to take an animal off the market for you. &nbsp;You have taken up his time and firmly led him to believe that the deal was done. You have committed to a sale and are, in my opinion, obligated. &nbsp;Sure, you can back out after that but, unless there is a serious reason, you shouldn't. &nbsp;Those of us with ethics generally subscribe to the adage "A deal is a deal" &nbsp;Gilbert apparently does not.

My other point of contention is Gilbert's absurd comment that one of the breeder's he backed out on was "too much of a snake peddler" &nbsp;He then said that he preferred to buy from breeders. &nbsp;Gilbert, a breeder who doesn't peddle his wares soon finds himself ass deep in baby animals. &nbsp;All of us who sell our animals are "snake peddlers". &nbsp;I, personally, have a pleasantly lucrative day job and most assuredly do not need to sell animals to pay my bills. &nbsp;However, I will definitely say that it is doubly pleasant to do something I enjoy deeply and also manage to make it turn a nice profit. &nbsp;If you are maintaining your quality and selling healthy well started animals you deserve to make a profit. &nbsp;If you aren't maintaining your standards you won't be in the business long anyway. &nbsp;

Also, I've noticed that his stock excuse for bailing on locked in deals seems to be to cry poor mouth. &nbsp;" I've had a few setbacks" &nbsp;This seems to conflict with his other statements of "being set for life" and not having to worry about money. &nbsp;Kind of interesting (and contradictory) Gilbert. &nbsp;If you are doing this, as you say, to spare our feelings, don't bother. &nbsp;We are all adults and can probably stand the horrible shame and discomfort of making you "uncomfortable". &nbsp;You are right...it IS your money. &nbsp;I, for one, would prefer you keep it. &nbsp;Your somewhat psychotic responses to the last several posts have most definitely made you persona non grata to any sane person reading this thread

My last comment is this. &nbsp;By my count, 8 breeders have now stated in this thread that you have treated them in this appallingly unprofessional and inconsiderate manner. &nbsp;Only one person has stated that you have treated them fairly. &nbsp;That's a pretty lousy percentage.

That is basically stating that you are going to fight them.
Any self respecting man will not make comments like that. If a situation gets to a physical point and he has to defend himself that is one thing, but to encourage it is another. spam_Yes I was a cop and I know what it is like being under the scrutiny of Superiors, peers, as well as the public, that is precisely why you should hold yourself to a higher level than act this way. spam_I do not support Cop haters or such, but that is their right to feel that way. it is their freedom of speech. spam_I defended the freedoms of US Citizens in the Military as well as working in Law Enforcement. spam_
I would suggest again that you keep your money, and if you want to purchase something from someone, please get as you said "all your ducks in a row" and then purchase the animal. spam_If your problems are with a person's business ethics or quality of animlas then yes you have lied. You have told them that you have had a few set backs. spam_I am a person that if you have a problem with me, by all means inform me, but don't sit there and lie to me and make up excuses or stories to sugar coat it. spam_If you honestly have had concerns with all of these people you have pulled this stunt on, then I would suggest you stick to spending your money with those few you say will sell you animals again. spam_If they are so great then have them get the animals you desire and don't bother or spend your time on anyone else.
