Mites?

Does that look like it could be mites to y'all? Husband brought her home from repticon Sunday he bought her from gourmet rodents. I'm trying to get her put to see more clearly but she's wedge herself in a log & I can't get her out, waiting for her to come out again. I've never seen mites personally so am unsure.

Could you circle what you think could be mites?
I don't see them.

It could just be some old wounds or something I still haven't been able to get her out. Trying again in a little bit.

Not mites. Mites are actually crawling, moving organisms.
Those do look like old wounds, or simply some discoloration of the skin.

That's what I thought. Definitely not moving. I've never actually seen them tho so was kinda in panic mode when I seen the black spots. Probably wc so who knows. Maybe I can get some ointment on her without losing a finger lol

An easy way to check is to wipe the area with a lightly dampened white paper towel. If those are mites some will be picked up on the paper towel and you will see them crawling around.

Ok thank you! She's got herself wedged into a log and I have no way of getting her out trying to entice her but not working well lol
