As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Streamwood,Il Show
After 15 years of being the only Show to draw over 1000 visitors every 2 weeks, I regretfully am notifying you of the shows end. August 20th will be our last show. The village of Streamwood changed our zoning and forced us out. But come on out on the 16th of July for our customer appreciation day. We will have free food, drinks and birthday cake in our picnic area.
Last shows July 1st, July 16th, Aug 5th and Aug 20th.

So sorry to hear this Lee. I just got out of the army and moved here and planned on trying to get a table at one of your shows soon. Hopefully I can make it to one of your last shows....

Ya know, when those condos went up nextdoor to your place we were wondering how long it would take before people moved in and started complaining about all the traffic and shut you down. 
I just wanted to say THANKS for holding the swap all those years. I first went there back in 1995 (IIRC found from an announcement on a local BBS, the Wild Onion) and was hooked from the first time. I lived in Denver from 2000-2003 and while I was there the only thing I missed about Chicagoland was The Swap.
Thanks again, sir, and I hope the new show does as well.

Sorry to hear about the rezoning. They just can't leave anything good alone. Glad to see you're still involved with the new shows starting up. Darn it all, Streamwood was much easier to get to from here.

Wow, this is certainly news to me. Honestly I thought this show would be going as strong ten years from now, as it was ten years ago. Sorry to hear this, Lee.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of the show..Good shows are few and far between. I have not attended your show but wish you well in the future..We need all the shows we can get. Thanks for staying involved
