A Pseudo indicator of sunken eyes in CoruciaS
Leeway Corucia Research Center (LCRC)
Actual sunken eyes in Corucia is a very strong indicator of a Corucia near death. It should be pointed out that one could see a situation that looks like a sunken eye condition but is actually a false sign.
A Corucia undergoing a heavy shed or an improper one due to low humidity or lack of access to a soaking bowl or natural rainshowers, may have residual eye capsules of unshedded skin around the eyes. The eyes will appear almost sealed sut in this situation and can give a psuedo appearance of sunken eyes.
The corucia in this condition should be soaked throughly to loosen the dead skin.
Afterwards to remove the eye capsule(s), Sherri and I have found the best method is to use a rubber tipped dental probe. Carefully using the rubber tip end, the dead skin can be removed from the eye region and the Corucia should be good to go after that. The Rubber dental probe is also good to check the gumline of a Corucia in question.
If this eye capsule situation occurs, the Guardian(s) of Corucia at that facility should double check on humidity condtions and soaking procedures.
Sincerely,
Brian
