Boaphile bulb guard

I have a Boaphile enclosure for my ball python, I don't remember the model number but it's 3' x 2' x 18" high. I had an incandescent bulb fixture installed in it for supplemental heating and light cycle, but I'm having trouble finding a way to protect the bulb. Anyone else out there with a Boaphile cage, what do you use around the bulb to make sure your snake doesn't get burned?

You can make your own guard out of chicken wire and tack it in with screws or construction staples.
