Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Separating mealworms from substrate??
I've been wondering this for a while and haven't been able to come up with a simple solution. How in the world can you separate your mealworms or small superworms from a substrate without picking them out one by one?? I'm using oatmeal for my small superworms, and it's really frustrating to sit there for 15 minutes to get enough for a single feeding!!
I tried using a fine mesh screen, but that didn't work that great. Do you guys have any tips/tricks to get more meal/superworms out of substrate? Any help will be much appreciated!

I use small tubs for gutloading mealworms. If you grind your oatmeal into a fine powder you should be able to take a sifter and put handfuls of substrate into it. then simply shake the sifter over the tub and walah easy to get mealworms. On a side note: I use a kitchen blender to grind up my gutload... works very well. Chris

Zach, is that the pint-sized square cup that has 1/16" mesh for a bottom? If it is, that's the same one I use. I think it's made by Pet-Tech. It works really well with Cody's gutload. I keep the mealworms in smaller containers, and I can dump the whole tub into the sifter. That way I can sift out all of the sheds too. (I just blow them off into the garbage can.)

yeah it is made by pettech, i think the screen will be a little to small for oatmeal, but it does work great for cornmeal and it was really cheap
