Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Y'all must have better flashlights and/or eyes than me! The only thing that I discovered by taking out my 2 clutches that are due in just over a week, was that I lost one of my six eggs from my mojo girl.  Very glad that I least found it, before it had a chance to damage the rest. That one BETTER NOT have been one of my lucy's!!! ...where are my scissors????

Surefire is the only way to go with a flashlight. Turn it on for 3 seconds and you have to change the battery. As for the eyes I am a really blind guy, can't see much with out the coke bottles in from of my eyes.
Sorry for your loss, hopefully it was not one of the lucy's.

We saw pattern in our eggs and then some didn't have pattern but we definitely saw the snakes body and was like hmmm...3 Lucy's later I know why we didn't see pattern on a few of the eggs.
We use a 9 led mini mag to candle with, bright as heck

It may be the flashlight. The one we use is a Surefire...military issue. Blindingly bright.

NO worries there! But the sight wasn't what got me. It was the smell.  BUT, like a train wreck, I couldn't just look away. With a shirt wrapped around my nose and mouth, I went back for another look. It was all white with big eyes!  Now, I don't know for sure that it was BEL, as snakes are getting most of their color in the last week or two, and these eggs are on day 40 so. It had NO pattern though so...

Well day 40 doesn't mean too much... A member posted pics of their egg, not too long ago, that they cut and it began as almost all white and gained color and pattern. I think he cut around day 40 or so too. So it might have and it might not have. Don't let it bring ya down, I'm sure you'll get your bels!!
And about the smell... Ugh, I can only imagine... I don't wanna cause I just ate breakfast!!
