Talking Escape story...

Well heres the deal...the sibling of the jungle i posted below escaped somehow about 4 days ago at only about 4 or 5 days old. She dropped down about 3.5 feet to the ground from her bin. So im sitting here in my room on the computer 13 stairs up and i see a small hatchling run by me! So after chasing the lightning fast bugger around and then into the closet and pulling everything out i finally caught her! Amazingly she still has her tail and looking beautiful. Shes now safe and sound in her Fort Knox sterilite

heres a pic of her....

lol, I had something similar happen to me yesterday. One of my hatchlings, almost 4 wks old now, jump from my hands and it dashed under my dresser. Thankfully, it was pretty easy to get out. Glad you caught yours though, it's a beauty!!

i got a good story

i had a leo excape from a bin that was partially open i bean a slight crack. the rack system is in the basment with tons of stored other things around i mean tons to. well she was gone 4 days and the basement floor is really cold so i took a shoe box and cut a few holes in it and blacea heat mat on the floor with a dish of mealies on it and in 4 days i came down there and there she was in the shoe box eating the mealies i thoght she was a gonner for sure but i was lucky and she came back so if any one has the same problem that is what worked for me.

I've had monitors, green iguanas, snakes....you name it!
And I have found when a reptile gets loose and into the walls/cabinets/etc....I just put out a heat lamp and sure enough they always seem to reapear! But with the nocturnal rep's the heat mat is a good idea!

one time, while i was in florida, i had my mom watch my lizards. i have a leopard gecko and an anole. while she was misting my anoles cage, the little guy jumped through the top of the cage(i had told my mom just to spray the water the water through the screen lid, but my mom forgot) and ran around my room. luckily she caught him. if she hadn't i would have never trusted her again. still noy sure i should.
