Wyatt with Tw International. How do I get my snakes back??

Here is the deal. I sent Wyatt a few adult females 3 years ago on a breeding loan. I sent two normals and an unproven fire female. Wyatt agreed that he would breed my snakes and I would get a portion of the babies. I received some pastels from him in 2005 at daytona. Wyatt told me that he would hold on the the females and breed them again. I agreed. This is what I was told.

Hey Joe,
Sorry dude been through allot in the past few weeks. The females were bred but have not ovulated yet. They were bred by a spider het albino male and the other by my pastel het ghost. Most of mine have already started ovulaing and some have even laid eggs. I suspect them to ovulate within the next two weeks. I will keep you updated.

Thanks,
Wyatt

I never received any animals. Wyatt told me he did not breed anything because he was getting a divorce and spitting with his partner. The PM I have above says differently. Time went on and I did not hear from Wyatt for a while. He would not respond to any emails or to any replies to ads he had posted. I got Wyatt's number from his old partner and I have been trying to get my snakes for over 8 months now. He will tell me he is sending them through the airport and to be available the next day to pick them up. This is only when he decides to pick up. I would then go a week or two without hearing from him. He then tells me he is having trouble shipping and that he will ship the next day. I never received my snakes and I am getting very irritated. I know he has sold and shipped many snakes over the last few months and days. I texted him via cell phone and sometimes i get responses asking to call later that day. He never answers. He doesn't respond to emails. I have his address but i do not feel i should have to travel to his location to pick up my snakes. I have a feeling I have been screwed. Wyatt if you read this please send my snakes back. I have lost time and money dealing with this. What should/can I do?

contract

Joe did you have a contract with him stating the breeding loan info? If so then you should be able to contact a attorney and sue him for breach of contract and theft of your females. If not maybe contact his local police department and see if they will give him a extra budge into sending you back your females .

I found this info on him here and it could explain the reason why you are having problems with him also. http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...=International

Joe from Virginia, ignore Joe from Illinois. Even if you had a contract you would not find an attorney to enforce this given the amounts you're dealing with. Your best line of defense here is to continue to attempt to contact him and then handle the situation with kid gloves. In other words, don't yell at him, attack him etc. Let cooler minds prevail. You know the ole saying about honey and flies right?

If push comes to shove, your only real recourse is what you're doing now. You simply let everyone and anyone know what he did. Other than that, you're completely wasting your time with the legal route. Not only will you be out the money it takes to file said suit, you won't be able to collect even if you received a judgment.

contract

I have no written contract. It was the first time I did something like that and I did not think to make up a contract. even so it is hard to do anything across state lines.

The only thing that gets me is he was really nice and the first year was great. Communication was a little rough the next year but i have had issues with that so I tried to let that go. Then this year I asked for the snakes back and he would tell me over and over he would ship and then wouldnt. He is asking how much I think the snakes are worth so he can just paypal me the money. How do you put a price on a huge unproven fire that he never got eggs out of?

He has found time to type on that thread. Hopefully he will address this as well.

I was thinking the same thing. I doubt that he will.

Joe,
I am going to make this right for you, but not on this forum. To everyone else that wants to continue this thread, be my guest.

Thanks,
