Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

This is my first thread. I felt the need to post here being an outsider not having known either the seller or buyer.
Buyer - Please don't be so rude. A little politeness can go a long way wether it be in forums or in real life. Judging by the way you acted in this thread I am giving props to everyone who continued to respond to you. You have taken a lot of shots at people in this hobby. It is not "us" who are ruining this hobby, it is YOU.
Seller - I am so very sorry. If you dealt with canadians I'm sure I would be purchasing snakes off of you with a TOS like that. How you stayed clam and collected for so long is beyond me...
Let me get this straight...
You purchased a ghost bp from a seller and got what you asked for. You initially thought the bp had a weight problem and didn't think to contact the seller? Two weeks later you see he is selling kinked snakes for discounted prices. You see these snakes and find a "kink" in yours. Then you supply us with many many pictures of this "kink" to which are so blurry can you barely tell it's a snake.
I just wanted to say thanks for this forum idea. It truly tells me who I would NEVER sell a snake of mine too.
Jeremy clements.

Deb, according to the original posts it's a female, approx 2 months old. I'm thinking we can rule out the "already successfully bred her" line of thought.

..good catch...but if he can wait 15 days and try and get a refund, who's to say he won't wait two years?

I don't understand why you haven't taken it to a vet if you are so worried....

First of all I saw all of Josh's ads for this snake and its siblings. Any time there is a kink in an animal he is up front about it. Josh apparently wanted to make it right, and this guy wants to tell the business how the "refund" will go?
Sorry for the pointless boi from this guy Josh but I'm sure everybody is happy he did it because it sure lets us know who not to sell to. As garweft said this op went on my "black list".

well i recently bought an orange ghost that was listed as kinked for pet only. i acknowlaged the kink asked a few questions about what may have caused it and weather it would affect breeding. i got the answer possible temperature too high during incubation and no it shouldnt affect breeding but no guarentees. i only buy to breed but i decided to buy it as a pet for my boyfriends birthday in two weeks. josh was very helpful in my decision to buy it as a pet. he gave me alot of helpful information and has been very kind to me. i am currently waiting for the payment to arrive to them and for the oragne ghost to be sent to me but i would be very happy to buy from them again in the near future. really good customer service all you have to do is ask questions and listen without jumping the gun.

I have to agree I see NO reason for this post at all Josh from Outback Reptiles went above and beyond your normal Customer Service and offerd a refund (even after 2 weeks)
You declined it (your choice)
I didnt see a vet report nowhere in any post inside of this thread
OutbackReptiles Has a great History and plenty of good post in the BOI (Just look them up)
What I see is someone who will probally never be happy with what he/she recives and looks for a reason to complain ( The reason here you seen 2 others going for less I seen the Kingsnake ad and it clearly stated the 2 had kinks and would make great pets)

keep in mind that the two that were posted on here with kinks were males. they would only sell for about $175 in perfect condition im guessing... at least that is how much ive seen males for. i know the females go for $300. i bought one of the males and i paid $120 shipped that would only be a $50 drop for males and so if you think about it even if the females price was lowered because of a kink you wouldnt save much anyhow. i think what needs to happen is for this tread to be left alone. you stated you wanted to keep her so why continue the thread. it is what it is.

hey guys, Josh is doing his part. trust me. the family will fall in love with the next one. they wouldn't keep it if it wasn't worth it. also, when do you know of a ghost having a genetic kink? its not a caramel. we as people who breed know that the family pet also don't make the best breeder 75% of the time. i am sorry. Josh is doing the right thing here. i have dealt with outback on man occasions and they are really good people to deal with. they have been honest with me if they thought there was a problem with a snake. they do have a keen eye for the problems snakes have. in other words they are no rookies. i do know a snakes quality very well and have been 100% satisfied with my purchases from them. don't ask for some money back. give them the snake back get your money back and get another one. trust me the family will fall in love with the next one to. i don't wanna seem one sided here but they are decent people who run a great business. they stand out like a sore thumb at the shows around here, why?, quality! and unbeatable prices. Josh dont own the business he is following their policy.
