Skin issues on ball python

Ok so i have searched around and found no explanation for this and had to ask so i know if i should bring my ball python to a vet. Anyway he seems to be a really healthy snake, he deficates normally and has never had any problems feeding. I have had him for two shedding cycles thus far and both times i have had to put him in luke warm water and help him out. After he sheds he looks beautiful but after the first time he had two small spots where the scales looked bland and now after the second time those are still there plus one other small spot where the scales basically look like they are all just connected as well as bland. I dont understand why he doesnt shed cleanly like my king snake used to and i just want his skin to go back to normal and i am a little worried. Thanks for the help in advance i know the people here are very friendly and helpful.

Im making this seem like a much bigger deal than it probably is, now that i am looking at him right here its just some spots where the skin just doesnt look shiny. Its probably just because hes growing and had issues shedding, it will probably go away once i figure out why hes having shedding issues. Just making sure though...

sounds like he is good to go... what more can you ask for, a feeding ball python.

the discoloration could be from bacteria... scale discoloration is a very common thing.

what kind of substrate do you use... whats your humidity at?

I use aspen snake substrate from the local reptile store. I am not sure on the humidity i need to get a meter. Also maybe he should have a warmer enviroment, its generally 88 its hard to have a hot side of 90-95 then a cool side around 85 in a 10gallon tank. I am getting him a 40long soon so it will be easier.
