Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Yeah that is disgusting.
There are snakes that I may never own in my lifetime. Pinstripes, and Luecistics, and things like that, and thats perfectly fine with me. But, to steal something, I mean come on. How low do you have to get. That is an insult not only to anybody who worked hard, and invested enough money, time, and effort to attain such a snake, or snakes, and to the people who look to purchase said snakes...
I hate people like that. Not only is it horrible for Kevin and crew and NERD, and the other party involved, but it also will, if there were enough of this, raise prices, and make breeding loans to produce cool new animals and profit the people involved come at a higher price. I mean, what breeder wants to ship off a tens of thousands dollar snake, and not be absolutely assured that it'll return safely..

You wouldn't have to live very long at all to be able to get anything that is out there now as long as it breeds well. It's good not to be jealous but if you are patient there isn't even a temptation. Of course by the time most everyone can afford leucistics and pinstripes there will likely be newer morphs and combos out of reach.
What really bites about the paragon getting stolen is that it is now less likely to eventually breed. Unless there are other animals out there of it's bloodline (and of course if it was even genetic) then we may never get the chance to wait patiently for one.

Yeah, it's sad, because Im not willing to drop tens of thousands to get into the morph game to be a big time breeder.
I actually enjoy a few of the cheaper morphs. I love albinos. I might actually finally cave in and buy a het pair.
I also may pick up a pastel male. It's either the hets, or the pastel. Im probably, in the end, going to buy a het albino gal though, Im in love with albinos. Take the money from them, and buy a caramel albino, or a piebald, or whatever is around that I like...

Yeah, and being 16... I never thought of that way. Im sure, by the time Im in my mid-late 20s pinstripes won't be more than 5k if that... By then I could get one at that price... I might even be able to get an albino at the end of the summer, which makes me really lean towards a het albino girl now...

I just wanted to thank all of you for spreading the word about this terrible event. Situations like this can be unpredictable, and as such, police have asked us to not release details that could potentially interfere with the recovery of these animals.
At this point we just want to see Gail get her snakes back, regardless of what our association with her is on any project. She truly loves her animals & has been through an exceedingly tough time with this whole incident. Her house was trashed - doors ripped off hinges, rooms destroyed, just a very, very ugly scene for anyone to encounter.
You can check the latest updates on her site at the snakebytes forum, and leave encouraging notes there for her as well. Please keep Gail in your thoughts & prayers as she endures this difficult ordeal.
Thank you all so much!

Gail, I am so sorry to hear about this!! I cannot even think how I would feel if it happen to me. I will keep my eyes and ears open! I am a super moderator for www.herptrader.com as well as www.herpsites.net . I also buy and sell a lot of Ball pythons on repti-auction. If I hear anything about them I will contact you here. Once again, sorry to hear news like this, I hope they catch them and return your snakes.
