I was trying to not have to post him on here, but he has left me with no other alternative. This is what happened. He seemed like a very straightforward person, I talked to him on the phone on several occasions, sold him an albino monocle venomoid, he sold me a pair of albino babies,ect. Everything seemed to be straightforward and on the up-and-up. Okay, so I posted an venomoid spitter on the net for sale. Chris liked the snake and contacted me. He was short on cash, so since I had dealt with him before, I agreed to let him make payments of $50 a week until the full $400 was paid off. I normally would never do this, but he seemed like a really nice guy and I had never had a problem with him on the dealings previously, so being a nice guy, I agreed. He also agreed to send me the shipping plus an extra $50 for letting him make payments(his idea, not mine). The shipping and $50 showed up a few days after I talked to him, no problems, I sent him the snake. Well, you can all guess what happened after that. NO other money showed. He contacted me the first week he was suppose to make payment, said "something came up, I'll send $100 next week". Three weeks went by, no money! Contacted him, he said that he would send me the full $400 in two weeks, meanwhile, I spotted the spitter(that he never paid for) on the classifieds for sale by another individual. After a nice little Phonecall to his house in the wee hours of the morning, I was told "don't worry, you'll get your money". After a couple of weeks and a few threats made by me, Chris agreed to send the original albino monocle to me for what he owed me, if I paid the shipping. Again, being a fool, I sent him the shipping money. I recieved a DEAD AND ROTTEN, PREVIOUSLY FROZEN, DEAD ALBINO MONOCLE! There were several problems with this:
1) the snake was dead
2) he sent it second day UPS(I paid for next day legal shipment)
3)It was in the 90 degree range both days the snake was in transit.
4)It is by several well educated opinions, believed that the snake was dead and previously frozen before shipment, due to the fact that it was lime green and rotted when it showed up.
I have sinced phoned Chris' house, NO REPLY, emailed him, NO REPLY. There is going to be an autopsy performed on the snake to see if it is truly the venomoid or a different dead snake. I will post the results later on. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit and fraud charges against Chris, but am holding off until I find out if the snake was Devenomized or not, If it was a hot monocle cobra, than I will see if I can file criminal charges, since that would constitute attempted murder, as the bite would be probably fatal if the snake was alive and not a venomoid. Oh yeah, and the great thing(sarcasm) was the snake sold/traded THREE TIMES before I saw the ad! What an upstanding indivual Chris Kindred is(COMPLETE SARCASM).
