Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

He has an add posted for 37 baby BP's and 10 baby het BP's.
Be wary. I emailed him wanting to buy the group. I cut and pasted his reply below.
Hi. Alot of questions here ! Here are the answers I have as of right
now.Ratio of the baby balls not known if a deal was to be made pending on
sex I could but have not as of yet.The hets are colombians the father albino
the mother not. Told to me as 66% hets., sexing the same as above.Feeders
all, atleast once on all the snak3es. They have all shed atleast once.As far
as size and weight not necesarry for me to do. If we were talking adults
that would be one thing but there all babys so I'm not going through all of
them.I know I answered alot of questions very vage but if you want please
give me a call and we can talk about what ever you need answered. Thanks
Shawn 1814825-6453
I emailed him back about a few points but didn't get a reply.
Two things stuck out.
1. Colombian ball pythons? Since when do they come from South America?
2. 66% hets from an albino father and normal mother? Wouldn't this make them 50% possible hets?
I decided against the purchase but just wanted to post this. The animals description seemed very odd and if anyone was interested in buying them, I would be a little leary about the purchase.
Thanks.

Maybe he was refering that the Colombians were Boas aside from the Balls he is selling? However, both of you are mixed up on the genetics, one albino parent bred to a normal parent will give you a whole litter or clutch of normal looking babies that are 100% het for albino.

Ahh. Now it all makes sense. I thought the hets were BP's as well. Boy do I feel stupid. <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' '>
Thanks Dennis for helping me get my head out of my a$$.
Now, I know why he didn't reply. <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' '>

If we are talking of the same Shawn and I believe we are. I actually talked to him on the phone for quite some time about these hets. They are columbian redtail hets. He had them for sale on herp auction. I gave him a call to investigate. He was very straight forward on the phone explaining the situation with the hets. They were from a male albino to a normal female. Though I found one thing interesting. He said it was a small litter and one albino was produced. Correct me if my genetics are wrong but if you breed an albino to a normal you should just get 100% hets...not an albino? Anyways he said he was selling them as 66% hets though if this is true they would all be 100% hets. I believe he has them and he seems like a straight forward guy. I have never done business with him but we had a nice conversation. As for the balls I don't know the source, sorry!

Correct me if I,m wrong. An Albino was produced, that would make the normal female a het. I'm not much into the genetics but using the p square from this breeding you would get 50% hets and 50% albino. Of course the ratio doesn't always work out that way but all the resulting babies that are not albinos should be normal looking hets.

I can say this, if a person is selling any het. animals and does not even know what he has to begin with them I would not trust they were het. at all. IF you breed a Albino male to a normal female you get all 100% het. for Albino, if you breed an Albino male to a het female you get 50% will be Albino, and 50% will be het for albino. If the male is het for albino and the female is not you get 50% that are het but look normal and 50% that are normal (hense the 50% pos het), it they both are het. you get 25% albino, 25% will be normal and 50% will be het but look normal(hense the 66% pos. het) If you would like to learn more about genetics and have fun you can visit the site http://www.geneticswizard.com

Sloburn is Shawn. That is the name on the replies and what he signs. Maybe you are thinking of someone else whose name is Mike.
Anyway, I just want to clear this up. I had thought that he was selling 37 normal and 10 het BP's.
I did not realize the hets were boas (my own stupidity for misreading what he was selling). I have spoken with him and told him I would, in turn, post here that the confusion was my fault not his.
He has offered me a pretty decent price for the normals as a group. I am not interested in the hets though since they are boas.
I apologize for the confusion Shawn.

Mike is Sloburn2002. Because if you look at the bottom of the ad it gives two email addresses. Mike's email is mikzoc@velocity.net. His email address was Sloburn2002 but he changed it to mikzoc@velocity.net. If you go and check out his member name you will see that Sloburn2002 is Mike Z.
Thanks,
