Male Green Burmese Python

Hey everyone.

This is probably the saddest post I have ever made.
We need to find a good, loving home for our 3 year old green burmese, Bob. With the financial issues we're having right now and all the red tape it takes to own a burm in FL, we just can't afford to keep him. He will need to be registered and microchipped. He's a very sweet natured guy. He's nipped me a couple times, but it was totally my fault. He's never been intentionally mean. He has a great appetite and eats colossal rats, 2+ pound rabbits and will willingly take poultry. He has been fed in his enclosure, but he is hook trained.

Bob is probably around 8 and a half to 9 feet long and weighs in the neighborhood of about 20 pounds.

Definitely meant for a more experienced handler. He's too big for me to feel comfortable shipping him. Please feel free to contact me if you're interested in giving our beautiful boy a new home.

We just want to know he'll have a good home with someone that will love and appreciate him.

Thanks,
K

Just wanted to tell everyone thank you for all the offers to take our beautiful boy. He is being placed with a family close by this week.

Thanks so much, folks. I never would have guessed there would have been so many people ready to open their homes to this big boy. I really appreciate it.

Best wishes,
K

He certainly is a beauty, and what a great way to show his size!
