To anyone who would like to give advice:

I know that box turtles are solitaire and shouldn't to be kept around other creatures, but I was wondering if a one could survive healthily housed with a rabbit in 30'x30' outside enclosure.
Whatever. I stand by what I said, and God help your poor turtles.

Whatever, hmm.. real intellectual. Don't judge me, I am in no way, shape or form lazy. You don't know me. Hell does the fact that I haven't sexed my turtles who have survived under my care for years make me a poor owner? I think not, I seek expansion of my knowledge, my intellect. I like the thought of communicating back and forth with real people more so than reading something written possibly 20 years ago. I see no reason why my post should have hurt you, if you thought that I should have found this information elsewhere could you not have simply looked over my thread? You could have, but you like confrontation judging by your other posts, you wanted to seem better than someone. Maybe you are better than me, maybe you aren't it isn't my place to say. I don't get into your business, I see no reason for you to disrupt mine. Please take your "intellect" elsewhere. Please, I beg of you, don't take this as an invitation for argument. I have no time for such things.

Fair enough, Chris. I won't bother you any more.

I would be cautious about keeping them in with rabbits. If you have rabbits, you know they chew on EVERYTHING.

I don't think I'm better than anyone, I just am who I am. Sometimes I am sarcastic and blunt.

Have a good one.

Thank you. I appologize for that first sentence, it was out of line.

So you are saying that they would chew the turtles as well? They are much more destructive than you would think (rabbits).

Eh, it was just an idea I had for a future pin.

Glad we could work things out. By the way, I checked out a couple of your songs online, liked some of them, pretty good. I have quite a few friends who play guitar and such.

Yes, I think there's a good chance the rabbits would chew them. In the wild, they love to chew shed deer antlers, and turtle shells are a very similar substance.

Thanks for the nice words about my music.

I don't know if either of you guys helping me are keeping any outside, but if so I was wondering what types of water sources you've been using.

I use those large, dish shaped things designed to go under large flower pots (about 18" diameter), and bury them, so about 1" of the rim is above ground level.

How deep are yours?

About 2 - 3" deep.

Are males generally more active than females? I haven't read anything about this being the case online, but the one I think is a male is much more active. He is also slightly smaller though, so maybe this is due to his possibly younger age. Then again, maybe it is just his personality.
