Mixing genetic traits
I'm having a little trouble grasping the concept of leo genetics. I understand that some morphs/traits are dominate and some are recessive, but do they ever mix? For example: A Banana Blizzard is a mix between a Patternless and a Blizzard, correct? It shares the traits of both as a mix in its pheonotype (is this right?). So what would a Banana Blizzard be het for? Is it het for both, and if so, if a Blizzard is bred to a Banana Blizzard, or if a Patternless is bred to a Banana Blizzard, what would the babies hatch as? Would they be whatever the other (pure) parent is, or would they be a lighter/darker mix of a Banana Blizzard? Or, would they be whatever the pure parent is, but het for whatever the other morph is?
Another example: Hi-Yellows have fewer spots, and carry a higher intensity yellow pigmentation, but when mixed with a normal, would they have fewer spots than a Hi-Yellow but more than a normal, or hatch as one or the other?
When it comes to Giants, if mixed with a normal, do they have a set size that classifies them as giants or normals, and if mixed with a normal, would they be smaller than giants but bigger than normals, or be either a giant and het for normal, or a normal het for giant?
