There is nothing wrong with owning snakes and children, as long as it's done properly and both the parents and the children educated, along with precautions placed (Childproof door knobs, locks with keys on the door where the children can't reach, etc...) This is ye another case of "Mother fails at parenting!" Thats what the headline should read, but we all know it will be "Woman saved by local officer from "vicious" snake"....as if snakes have a choice of who their owners are....poor thing was just hungry and she was dumb enough to smell like food....sad that we in the reptile hobby will take the bashing for her mistake...I can see the politicians new headline "Reptile Hobby = Down the tube" lol
