breeding pair of fennecs for sale
I previously listed this pair of fennecs however i had to remove the add because i caught the pair breeding and i didnt want to move the female for fear of her eating her offspring. However it seems the breeding i witnessed did not take so i can put them back up for sale.
The pair is two years of age and unrelated plus they have succsess
fully bred before last year the female had a litter of 3 kits.
Currently i have the pair seperated in order to prevent the female
from being bred ( the male is desperately trying to get to the female
to breed her again ). They are breeders only they are not pets, they
could possibly be tamed back down as they where originally bottle
babies. I am their second owner and apparently the previous owner just
didnt really pay much attention to them ( after the novelty wore off)
so they ended up becoming shy and reclusive. They are in excellent
health and could make a great addition to anyones breeding facility or
could be a good start for someone interested and knowledgeable to take
on the task. The only noticable problems with either of them is the
female is currently in and out of a shed and she gets pretty scragly
looking during this time. They are both very hearty eaters and really
enjoy carrots, green beans, and any other veggie they can get thier
paws on.
Personally i dont really want to sell them however i have recently
purchased a new home and thier old enclosure was unable to be moved to
my new house. Construction of a new enclosure is out of my price range
right now as i also have servals which i have to build a larger
enclosure for. And i hate to keep both species and end up not
providing enough attention and time for either. I also do not wish to
ship these animals so i would need to see if i could make meeting
arrangements ( preferably within 100 +/- miles of frankfort kentucky
). I have them priced at 1,600 for the pair which i think is quite
resonable especially if you have an enclosure allready in place for
them. I know its late in the season however i beleive if placed
together again you will see them breeding again this year.
