Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I was just curious how do you hold down the rails that you use. Mine have a little lip on them on the edge that you can screw screws through to hold them in place.

its been almost a year on some of them and it has yet to fail. The other issue I'm worried about in the long run is that i don't think either the tape or the rails are UV protected so what may happen is those rails may start to crack and break but that's something I'll worry about when it happens

Why not use a strong bonding glue or pre drill small holes (so you dont crack the plastic) for smaller nails???

The pre drill and nail method works well with the plastic track, I have a cage I got from anthony @ annapolis bearded dragons and the glued track came loose so I drilled some small holes and used tiny nails and used a small punch to drive them in and it works great.

That's what I was going to say. I have one plastic one I bought awhile back the glue by its self is no good and messy but with the nails works way better. I'm still open to any other ideas though, I like the price of the plastic. The metal rails stay at an avarage of 35 dollars for the set.

I'm just curious why all the photos have been removed from this thread? I was really looking forward to reading through and viewing the nice setups of this thread. Needless to say its a disappointment. Might as well delete the entire thread, it is ruined now.

Considering that this thread is over 4 years old...And there have been changes to the website, and or people with their photobucket...Yeah, things happen.
Guess you should have noticed that this thread was that old before griping about missing pictures and that the thread should be deleted.

I did notice that, thank you very much! I also notice there is numerous people on here (such as yourself) that don't seem to have anything else better to do, then criticize new members when they ask a question on a old thread.
Been reading a lot of old threads, I'm new, just want to learn, that's how I learn.
Since we are critiquing people for complaining about something they are disappointed with. You should try to be more polite, you tend to irriate a lot of new members, that's something else I have learned by reading through old threads.
