The Department of Defense and the New York Police Department (NYPD) are developing a remote controlled device that could detect if individuals are carrying concealed firearms or explosives.

In this video, Fox News looks at the device, which can see through clothes, backpacks and even walls. The "electronic frisking" device uses electromagnetic energy waves and terahertz that bounce of metallic objects, sending back an image of suspected guns and explosives.

Although the current range of the electronic frisking device is limited, developers are working to expand its reach to 75 feet, meaning police could begin electronically scanning citizens without their knowledge or consent. That possibility has raised concerns with civil libertarians like NYCLU's Donna Lieberman, who told Fox:

Everyone saw it coming that visits the forums and pays attention to their surroundings...they saw the lightning and heard the thunder but thought the storm would go around them...did nothing to prepare and before they knew it the funnel cloud dropped and now all they can say is "what happened"...well that was just the quite before the real storm hits.....and when it does they will say the same thing "what happened, how come no one told me"
Common sense is not a common thing.

Yeah, I suppose you are right. I guess people will get the government that they allow to rule them, and therefore what they deserve...... Meanwhile the American public sits numbly before the boob tube watching football and guzzling beer while their freedoms are taken away piece by piece.

We just watched yet another piece go bye-bye....

So tell me, when the government finally succeeds in taking away every form of self employment that exists by regulations that put them out of business, or outlawing outright the products they produce, what is going to be left?

What sort of society will you have when everyone works for the government with no paychecks, simply favors and privileges doled out by the government based exactly on NEED, without concern for WANT?

Think we aren't heading in that direction right now? HAH! Wake up and smell the jack booted thugs that will be enforcing these laws pushing us in that direction....

The government does not like the thought of self-employment because they cant regulate the taxes on the earned income...same reason pot is not legal..they cant regulate the income.
Its not the "Land of the Free" its the "Land of the Taxed"...and if we cant tax you on your income or regulate it then we will make it illegal...I dont smoke pot and I dont own big snakes banned but I know plenty that do and they just lost their way of life and my snakes are next on the list.
Self-employment is JOKE unless you are contracted by the Govt..why they can regulate.

I like my beer wish I had time for football..I work 60+ hours a week and then take care of my collection and my son...I let them take $50,000.00 a year in taxes from me (no choice)...hopes are to become a full-time breeder and on the side and work a normal job 40 hours a week making 30 to 40 k a year but that aint looking like thats going to happen...I have over 80k in BP's in three years and their on the list...I see the lightning and hear the thunder and have no one to call for help. Like everyone else I will ride it out and hope for the best but expect the worse.
Rich... I love your statement... *TRUE* Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what is for dinner....talk about hitting the nail on the head.

That, by itself, shows the person writing this article has no idea what they're talking about (terahertz is a unit of frequency). So take that entire article with a grain of salt.

No, only some of us will be working for the government. The rest will be working for the only businesses left: the giant corporations. :P

Question 5: Would someone be able to take a pet snake to another State just for a visit or to go to a veterinarian?
Answer 5: No, even temporary interstate transport would be prohibited. The Lacey Act does not have provisions to allow the interstate movement of pets.
There were less taxes and more freedom when King George was in power and look what happened. It's time for a second American revolution.

Question 18: If the proposed injurious listing is enacted, would someone who moved out-of-state be able to take his or her pet python along?
Answer 18: No. The movement of listed species across State lines (that is, interstate transportation) is prohibited, unless a permit has been issued to authorize the movement. Permits can be issued for zoological, educational, medical, or scientific purposes. However, permits are not issued for pets.
Screw the government.

At the chance of contracting the STD? No Way!!
S ocialist
T yranny
D isease

Many have already contracted this thru seemingly immaculate conception
It has clearly skipped over epidemic and gone straight to a Biblical Plague
