the fact of the matter is that YES I'm no professor like you Jason - Obviously you like to voice yourself - Its YOUR WORLD - were just squirrels trying to get a nut.  Who ever mentioned Fred? I didnt, YOU sure seem to be OBSESSED with him - could it be ____?  Anyways - Im not trying to teach people on IBD - thats your job - Your the "EXPERT", were youre customers - but as customers, its plain to see that your hard a-s attitude makes for an unpleasant experience working with you!

Jason, My turn to thank you for a link!  I am glad to finally hear bill's side of the story.  I had devised as much based on the other discussions but it is a very convincing arguement of who the real villan is... and as I always suspected it's not chris (although I think he blew this one out of proportion a bit) and it's probably not Bill as much as everyone seems to want to believe.  It sounds like both Bill and Chris made the mistake of not following the BBB rule... "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is."

I have nothing of merit to add really, but it is good to hear the other side of the issue finally.  Passing the buck?  Placing blame where it is rightfully due?  Who knows.

Jason--  thanks for posting that...specially since I missed it on the other forum..   I am glad to know the other side of the story. and oh let the madd guy go......he is just "madd" at something.  He does not realize how passionate we herpers can be about our animals.  (But everyone is entitled to their opinion)

if that is the way I come across, I apoligize, I do not look down on anyone no matter what there experiance is, and do not think I am better then anyone, as Richie said we can be very passionate about this and I tend to get a little hot headed

no its not that at all, that statement there is a very good reason why I dont like Fred, because once again he is intentionally missleading people from the facts, you are not the only person he has spread that gossip to, I simply call things as I see them and when someone is wrong they are wrong, he was wrong for attacking a girl who had nothing to do with any of his dislike for Cagle in the boa forum because she bought an animals from Cagle, all she wanted to do was share the joy of her new pet, Fred ruined that and then all of his little buddies in the forum from San Diego came to his rescue, however not one of the would admit Fred was wrong for attacking that girl, thats the plan and simple reason why I go after Fred, he attacked that girl and then proceeds to attack Cagle, a person he has never done buisness with or spoken to and after Bills request he doesnt even have the balls to speak with him over the phone he continues to hide behind a computer and take pot shots at him every chance he gets, that there is the truth my freind

The post on the boa forum has been deleted however, I copied and pasted what Bill said in my prior post word for word, I am sure everyone can tell by it being typed in all caps lol, anyway Bill emailed he told me that him and the webslave got into it over this whole deal a while back and he has since been banned from the site, so that is why he hasnt been following up in any of these threads, just figured I would let ya know,

Hey now.....can anyone first hand say they have had IBD sweep threw and kill the whole collection <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> &nbsp;I have only heard of a few people saying they have had it and only a few of the had proof....anyway if any of you have had any dealings with it let's hear about it and what you saw go down from one snake to another!!!!

But hey you asked so here goes.

I used to do adoptions and rescues. &nbsp;STILL DO
One day I eceived a box with no return address.
I automatically thought (okay what did I buy this time)
Opened it up...and it was the most Beautiful Boa I have ever seen. &nbsp;Checked all my e-mails and accounts....(I did not buy a thing or adopt a thing). &nbsp;So I figured this was just a boa someone no longer wanted. &nbsp;Anyway my quarantine room was in the laundry room. &nbsp;It was a pretty big room and it was three rooms away from where I house my collection. &nbsp;This boa was weird. &nbsp;it just stared a lot. &nbsp;And the poo poo was real stinky. &nbsp;But it did eat for me a couple of times. &nbsp;But he did not gain any weight....in fact he lost weight. &nbsp;He got real stiff too. &nbsp;And also had a hard time going where he wanted to go. &nbsp;He stopped eating and got stiffer. &nbsp;I did the "turn him over" test. &nbsp; He had a hard time righting himself. &nbsp;Months went by and I knew this snake was NEVER gonna get any better and join my collection. &nbsp;He got tube fed....spent so much time with him that my wife who is so afraid of snakes actually started petting him and got used to him. &nbsp;Anyway....I think six months went by before he finally died. &nbsp;I did not bother doing a necropsy....He pretty much showed the "signs" of IBD.
I forgot to add that he had weird scars on his body.
Anyway &nbsp;it was real easy to take care of the whole situation.
He got put in a plastic bag and taken to my vet for proper handling......The enlcosure was my "quarantine" enclosure. &nbsp;14 dollars at walmart. &nbsp;So it was easy to just throw away. &nbsp;
I did not want to take any chances so I just threw everything I used on him away. (cheap wal mart stuff....they are the best for quarantine procedures).

There was no need to check the rest of my collection because they were in a completely different room and I used completely different stuff.

People please be careful. &nbsp;You can never be to careful. &nbsp;Buy yourself a cheap $100 snake....that is fine.
Do not follow proper quarantine procedures....that is not fine.
Lose thousands of dollars because quarantine procedures were not followed....that is not fine.

how about you stop stirring, remove the spoon from the pot, set it down, and walk away. &nbsp;you have 4 snakes for the price of 2 including 2 from bills private collection. &nbsp;yes, one may have died (and you still haven't proven that the dead snake is the one cagle sent you), but it has been shown that the person who bill purchased the snake from has had a case of IBD since then. &nbsp;it is not cagles fault the snake died nor is it his fault the snake had IBD. &nbsp;it's not your fault either. &nbsp;but he has (in almost every single persons opinion) gone beyond the call of duty and good business to make you happy and you still want to complain. &nbsp;just SHUT THE %()(k UP AND GO AWAY. &nbsp;if your question above is a legitimate one, post it elsewhere, this is not the proper forum for it. &nbsp;if your this desperate for attention, why don't you fake (or not, i really don't care) an addiction to something and get in the papers as a fallen rock star?
anyway, let this topic go away. &nbsp;all you have to do is like i said, quit stirring the $h!+.
oh, and to answer your question real quick, if you had quarantined LIKE BILL TOLD YOU TO DO, you would never, NEVER, have to worry about IBD "sweeping" through your collection. &nbsp;end of story. &nbsp;now run along little one...
