Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.

Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

A mother's worst nightmare comes true when she gets a call that her son has been shot. The shooting occurred just past midnight last Friday at an apartment complex off Two Notch Road. The victim is still recovering in the hospital as police investigate a robbery that almost turned deadly.
"He's always doing for people that live in his neighborhood, he's been like that since he was a little boy,” Getrude Cherry proudly shows her photo album filled with precious memories of her son. According to Columbia City Police, the 21-year-old Craig Vant was shot in a botched robbery attempt. "It's by God's grace and God's mercy, that he is still alive today."
Cherry says Vant was trying find a good home for a couple of snakes, "A young man that called said he would buy the snakes, so Craig went to meet the guy."
Vant drove down Schoolhouse Road to an apartment complex off Two Notch. "They robbed him and shot him. He was hollering and screaming, and nobody came to his rescue when he was being shot,” Cherry said.
Vant is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the arm and leg. As Cherry's son recovers, she hopes Columbia Police will catch the men involved. "They need to be off the street."

To rob somebody is a pretty disreputable deed in itself, but anyone who would shoot somebody with a shot gun in order to gain 2 snakes and $30 needs to be put away from society.

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Columbia police say a man was robbed after he met a man, intending to sell him some snakes.
Officers say they've caught one of the suspects in the case, but need your help to find the other one.
Officers say on May 23, 20-year-old Jarvis Praylow told Craig Vant to meet him at the home of 23-year-old Tyrone Labruan Carson on School House Road.
CPD spokesman Brick Lewis says Vant was trying to sell two snakes, and Praylow told Vant he or Carson would buy them.
When Vant arrived at around 12:45am, Lewis says Praylow and Carson robbed and shot the victim with a shotgun.
Vant is currently in stable condition, according to Lewis. Praylow was arrested June 1 after calling police to turn himself in.
Warrants have been drawn for Praylow and Carson for assault and battery with intent to kill.
Carson is still on the loose, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Columbia Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating Carson. If anyone has information regarding this incident or Carson's whereabouts, please contact Crimestoppers at (888) 559-TIPS or the Columbia Police Department at (803) 545-3500.
