Question How tame are your rosy boas?

I've never owned a rosy, but I'm interested to know the answers! Would you drape your rosy boas on babies, or do you put signs up to warn burglars about their presence in your house?
Please post with how many rosies you have and their ages. And, heck, post if you think locality makes a difference.

You should PM E2MacPets, I think he likes taking pictures of that sort of thing.

Ha ha, just kidding, all sorts of hilarity abounding at the sand boa forum. You'd be singing soprano if you tried that around a roughscale.

Well, who isn't nippy during feeding time? I was in Chipotle the other day and almost took a guy's hand off.

If you don't have Chipotle where you live, move.

I bought 2 Coastal Rosy Boas that I was warned were mean. It only took a week to tame them. I did once have a baby rosy that would not stop biting though. But that is not the norm.

Amazing the variation you get within species, eh? Even with their tiny little brains reptiles have something you could in some instances term 'personality'. Even if that personality involves attempting to eat humans on sight.

(It's cute when they try to eat you if they're under 6 feet)
