Reptibid II

Reptibid has just launched their new website: Reptibid II
The new auction site is now a pay site and has incorporated numerous safeguards to prevent the problems that plagued the old auction site.

Check it out - it's worth a look.

The main page can be accessed at: http://www.reptileauctions.com/

Or if you're feeling especially generous, you can sign up (at no charge) at the following link via their affiliate program and receive a $3.00 credit on your new account:

Thank you,

I am an old member there. I just received an email update last week but have not visited or tried to log in yet. I sincerely hope that it is a "new and improved" business.

It does seem they've made a LOT of changes for the better....hopefully they can weed out the scammers and rip-off artists. The new setup is a bit more confusing, but I think it'll be good once a person gets used to it.

I have $20 credit on my account over there now, and have never figured out how to use it or how I got it, lol.

Update to last post

I had no problem logging in.
New and very different format and appearance.
Pages are much busier. So, that might make it more confusing as Cat has said. It will take me some time to get used to the changes.
Old system and New system are still separate. Both can be accessed with one log in.
Looks promising.

Well, I got into it just fine this morning, and just happened to make a "Buy it now" purchase from Mike, lol.

The only thing that annoyed me a bit was that the items were on 2 separate auctions, and once I used the "buy it now" on one, I had to wait like 15 minutes to use it again on another item. The message I got said it was to prevent fraudulent biddng......uh, ok. LOL. I guess I'm just not a patient person.

Cathy,
I guess I'm a little slow this morning.
I didn't even realize that it was you. I was scratching my head and looking back through my customer files trying to figure out why I recognized your name.

You get so used to people's screen names that you don't always place their given names. Of course, had you signed at Cat_72, I would have recognized you immediately.

Thanks for the order.

Wendy,
Were you able to check the email that you have on file?
I got on right away and had the verification email from them within seconds.

Have you tried emailing them? I have also found the "new" people there to be very responsive. If there is anything I can do to help - just ask.
