Steve Takata--Feedback?

I'd put this on the BOI, but I'm afraid it would get buried before anyone saw it.

I'd like to know if anyone has any feedback regarding Steve Takata?

He's got this add running

http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...ad.php?t=87140

I've searched the BOI with no results, and Google came up dry also.

thanks

Warning! Don't know the guy,...

But I did see the pics he posted of his animals. And they looked really "bug" eyed to me. The head just didn't look right. Not something I would want. Although they might be fine. This is just another one of the joys of buying snakes online. You can't see what your'e getting, until you get it. And you don't get to meet the seller in person. Good luck,
T.

I was in contact with Steve regarding his ad. I was looking for a single female.
After a couple e-mails he offered me a single female for $1600. Too rich for my blood. I saw his animals at the NARBC show in Anaheim. East Bay Vivarium had them at their table. $2100 a pair. They looked very nice.

$2100 a pair!! You guys have to pay through the back teeth for these snakes, how come they are so expensive? Dont get me wrong I think high prices for Drys has a positive effect on the overall level of keeping and husbandry for the species, only people who really want them get them, but it must be really frustrating for everyone.
Babies seem to sell for about £125 here and pairs for £300-£500, although I'm having a really hard time finding Drys in Europe, hoping the spring will bear fruit, I would love to get some of Nazza's baby Drys, just amazing, but I bet i'm not the only one.

Coincidence! I don't know Steve but earlier today he inquired about the pied mussuranas posted in one of our ads.

I met him at the Sacramento show and he was a very nice guy. His animals were gorgeous and seemed to be very healthy. He allowed to hold one and I didn't see anything externally unusual. He was also selling at Dave Katz' table, and I personally know Dave; he's a really great guy. Overall, it was a positive experience.
