Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Lay boxes
I just want to make sure I am doing this right. What type of substrate do you use in the lay boxes and do you put it on the cool side or warm side of the tank.I am using coconut fiber as substrate and I keep it moist not wet and I have it on the warm side of the tank.I have a tupperware container(larger type with just a hole cut in it so she can get in and out.Does this sound ok??

Everything sounds right except for location. By warm side do you mean over the UTH or heating element? If you do have it over one of these you might want to mave it so that it is near, but not over. Otherwise some eggs may fry if the female digs down and lays them on the very bottom.

Yep sounds good except like Alice said.
I have mine in the middle of the cage, right at the edge of the heat tape but not directly on top of it. Then a dry hide completely on the cool side.

sound good! I have had 1 female lay in her dry hide though, so I have had thoughts of taking the dry hides and putting moist fiber in them too just in case, just not decided yet.
