Real or Fake

They want a LOT of money for this girl and I wanted to check if beardies can actually be this color.

Has anyone ever seen one with blue like this before?

Since the bottom of the dragon we can probably assume is not blue I would assume what looks like blue sheen on these 2 parts is coming from an overhead light, maybe a blue actinic fishtank light.

Edit: The color is sharper in the original, look at it in those places. I used a crappy windows program to circle and resize so it messed the colors up. Also, I just noticed something. The properties of the pic say it was worked on in Adobe Photoshop CS. I'd bet dollars to pesos he used a blue light overhead then used the PS selective color tool and leveled up just the blues. No dragon like that exists....

Probably a standard hypo they used for the pic.

Thanks.

I didn't think it was legit.

I know some have purple sidebars, I bought one from Sundial that had them but this just didn't "look right" with that blue.

Personally I think you are way off. The reason is due to the detail on the lizard which makes it VERY difficult to get the blue in the areas it is in (such as the scales in the neck region) without making a mess and without wasting a whole lot of time. As for the highlights you circled in the plant... look like reflections from a standard fluorescent bulb to me.
It'd bet they did something like airbrushing prior to the photo being taken.

I am headed out the door but I'll put one up of my own later, I bet if I can't do it my g/f probably can. ANYTHING is possible in Photoshop.

Personally, I have NEVER seen a dragon like that and would be thinking it was fake..but anything is possible!

Ask them to send you a couple more photos of her..and specify that they be "OUTDOOR PHOTOS"

If they are asking a lot of money for her and want to sell her they should have no problem doing this..

I just got a response from the seller and was told that this pic was taken outdoors in natural sunlight.
