What's the pricing on yellow silkbacks and leathers?

I have some in the incubator and am not sure what to price them at when they hatch. Mother is a yellow leatherback and the father is a yellow tiger leatherback. Thanks!

Depending on color they can go for 125-150. but dont sell them till at least 3 months. I find that their healthier to fo to new homes then then the 6in rule of selling them

There isn't really a guideline for dragon pricing. What one person can sell for $400 someone else can't even get $50 for the same dragon. A lot depends on the quality on the parents, the genetics of the parents and which lines they come from. The potential of the hatchlings is seen in the parents, though some hatchlings show more promise than their parents.

The further back you can track the lineage, the better off you'll be. Breeders looking for fresh blood typically like to ensure that they aren't overlapping blood lines. Pet owners looking for a new buddy often appreciate the knowledge as well.

Honesty is the best policy. If you got the parents off Craigslist and have no idea where they came from don't try to fill in the void yourself.

Take a look at your hatchlings when they arrive and watch them grow. Compare what you have to what you see other people asking for similar animals and go from there. The ability to ship your animals safely is usually helpful as well.

50-60 dollars. Chances are they wont make it past the first couple of weeks. People are aware of this and wont pay over 100 dollars unless its coming from a reputable breeder like bloodbanks.

Your going to notice not all of them are silks. Half of them will probably be leathers. For the handful of silks you get, i suggest raising them till they are about 2-3 months. The price of a healthy silk around a few months will be crazy, not many of them are for sale. You never know what someone will pay for a healthy one.

Keep them and learn about them. They will be treasure in the long run if successful. Post some pictures when they hatch. exciting clutch you got there .
