Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

What kind of music are you??
I was talking with a friend the other day and we got into the subject of music...and from there, the kind of person we were when we were younger. People that like certain types of music tend to group together. So, what kind of music are you?

Depends on my mood.
I'm a pushover for Patsy Cline, but have my White Stripes moments. Then again I have my Social Distortion Moments too........
I could go on and on.......

Terry

I think I am a total mood person. If I am bitchy, in traffic, and want to scare old ladies, it's Static X (I think they're classified as speed metal?). If I am feeling mopey, I have a slew of girlie music (3rd eye blind, dixie chicks, and sad songs from different bands), and then I like contemporary Christian music also. GreenDay (before 1996) is my all time favorite though. 3 doors down has a lot of sad miserable songs. I know there is a song from Ill Neno that I love! So romantic ahhhhh

Hmmm, it is different for me every day....... Actually every couple of hours..... Sometimes I like to listen to some old school rap from back in the 80s...... I hate the freakin 80s rock and pop bands LOL...... I listen to 60s and 70 rock...... Jethro Tull, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Ozzy, Hendrix, The Doors, Cream, and so on..... Any Irish or Scottish punk band from the 70s is great....... They were all the GreenDay way before GreenDay..... I am a huge TOOL/PERFECT CIRCLE fan and SYSTEM OF A DOWN is awesome...... I like MUD VEIN...... Oh and I cant forget Manson...... I am sure I missed like 100 other bands but you get the idea....

This assumes you listen to music on your computer...which we all know isn't ideal...but this is really cool software and web group.

It doesn't matter where I go I am bound to hear some damn club music. This brings back both bad and good memories of the mid to late 90's. the best memories would be from Europe in the mid 90's and the bad would be from here in the states in the late 90's. But being too old and not energetic enough to attend raves anymore (let alone have to patience anymore to deal with the little freaks) I tend to gravitate to artists I can relate to. Say Rob Zombie, Korn, Three Doors Down ( Hey they are from the South ok).

My music taste varies with my mood. All in all though, my tastes are pretty eclectic and there's no continuity in what type of genre I listen to on a given day. In the span of an hour, it could range from Guns 'n' Roses to Garth Brooks to the Doors to Beethoven.
As I type this, I'm listening to The Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera.
Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendour
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender
Hearing is beliveing, music is decieving,
Hard as lightning, soft as candlelight,
Dare you trust the Music of the Night
