Found these while doing some gardening. They were underground.

You know, I've seen those pupae before..now if I can just get the old grey matter working and try remember where from...

I think it is..did research on cotton bollworms..Heliothis armigera. Those look very similar.

After looking up bollworms I think you are correct seeing as how these are all over the place too.

Yup, now that I see pics of the worms..I'm convinced. Wow..that was ages ago, did research on these buggers as part of some undergrad project I had.

Took me a while to recall where I'd seen those brown pupae Nasty little buggers, major problem in the agricultural industry.

Hehe..I'm sure!! Plump little bags of nutrients

We were working on potential viral agents to control these buggers. Spent many a weekend and late night working on bioassays till they came out of my teeth. Not suprised I have these guys permanently imprinted in my head! Cant believe how quick they grow and how much food they consume!
