Hey Tracie and Beth, thanks for all the feedback. I just recently got Mojo a grape vine and he can't seem to make up his mind about using the hammock or the grape vine.

Here are some more pix.

Hello

Hello Emmanuel,

He looks really good & very comfy too!
How close is he to the UVB? Make sure it is not closer than 6 inches, ok? I know you have the basking light directly overhead so that is good.
His tail looks like it might be getting ready to shed possibly?
I guess he will figure out where he wants to sit more, at least he has a choice!

thanks tracie and beth! and yes tracie he as actually now getting ready to shed. arms and hind legs are now all grayish/white.

i did have a question about their depositions, though. i notice that sometimes he likes to drop his beard and it turns black. i thought maybe he was hungry. but he had just eaten. this last time though, he rammed the glass of the terrarium to get my attention and then he got puffy, dropped his beard (making it puffy, too) and then it turned black and opening his mouth. i'm not sure if he was hissing at me or not, though.

does this mean that he is upset or is he in heat?

okay, i think he may have saw his reflection in the glass and was trying to show his dominance. as i noticed he also did this on the opposite end of the terrarium away from me.

Hello

Hello Manuel,

He most likely saw his reflection in the glass & they do get worked up when that happens sometimes, especially the males.
They will puff their beards out & turn them black. He is just getting close to maturity then.

Tracie
