Let me know, because with these if you break off a branch and plant it, it will grow another tree!!!! you never have to keep going out and buying more (I am referring to the ficus). Not sure about the corn/cane plants but they are cheap enough (7.99) to buy lots of them.

plants...

My favorite plants are bromeliads and tillandsias. They do really well in terrariums for R. brevicadautus (Stump tailed chameleons). Tillandsias are great because you can just stick them almost anywhere and they grow. I like bromeliads because not only do some species of frogs use them for breeding, but I have actually seen a couple of my chameleons drink from the water in them. A good place to find them is Tropiflora in Sarasota, Florida. www.tropiflora.com.

Ive never had any problems with my ficus trees, except they outgrow the smalelr reptariums.

Mine are kept room temp at the bottom and the taller ones hit 80-90 at the tops of tghe taller ones, and they get lots of moisture from misting the chams.

If the leaves are falling off, it sounds like they are too dry.

Most ficus trees are pretty tolerate to being over or under watered but they do need to be misted daily.

They do get misted daily but i dont water the plant its self that often but I am getting one of those pro-mist (as soon as the ups guy gets to my house today) So the chams and plants will get misted more often. Maybe that will help keep the ficus alive.
