I think that since your questions seem so fundamental, you need do a lot more research on dog care and husbandry before getting any type of dog.
BTW, this site does have a dog forum. Questions specific to dogs might get a better response if posted in that forum where dog knowledgable persons would be expecting questions.
Show quality means that the dog adheres very closely to breed standards and is (at least superficially) suitable for being shown (dog shows). The fees charged for show quality pups/dogs are higher than for pet quality.
Pet quality means that a dog has certain faults that make it unsuitable for being shown. They are still excellent pets. Can still be registered with a breed registry (ex AKC)
Please note, MOST dogs are NOT suitable for breeding. Only those individuals that win top awards in conformation and/or performance have the genetic quality to be parents.
