Found Turtle Covered in Leeches

Found a turtle today covered in leeches and got rid of them and turtle is very lethergic what is the best way to help him get his strength back up

What kind of turtle is it?

As long as you provide adequate water a turtle should be able to reconsititute it's blood volume pretty quickly. It will take it a while to synthesize more red blood cells but there's not too much you can easily do to help the process. Just make sure to provide enough food and water and give it time.

I once pulled 35 leeches of a 10" red eared slider and she recovered completely. Her red blood cell count was fairly normal within a few weeks.
