Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I just e-mailed them about it, they come with cable from what they told me. I wonder why I was told that yet you own one with flexwatt. Was it different as far as pricing than whats advertised?

My rack was the first and only one they made with flexwatt wired and installed. I thought he had already started offering it. My mistake. They are not offering the flexwatt yet.

It was $400 and then $75 for shipping. Same as the price listed on the site.
I am very happy with it so far. Heats great and hold humidity really well. I had to add extra holes to the tubs because it holds humidity so well.
They pack these things to survive anything during shipping. Mine came in 5 boxes. All of the holes lined up perfectly and it came with dozens of extra screws. No chance of not having the right amount of screws when you start putting it together. It is also VERY heavy. A lot heavier than I had thought it would be.
I plan on switching out my other racks with these in the future.

They can/will make racks for heat tape if you ask. All 14 of mine were built to accomodate 4" heat tape that I installed myself. The heat tape wasn't included with the racks, although they did discount each rack $25 I think. The way that they router (?) the shelves for the heat tape is really quite impressive. Being six feet tall, they are rather heavy, but not so much that I can't move them around by myself. I hope AP keeps making them for at least as long as I own herps, because I honestly can't picture a more perfect rack for my projects.

Someone else has heat tape. Cool. I talked to Mark. Mine was not the first with heat tape just the first one that they installed it on before shipping it.
The heat tape works great.
They installed mine when I asked since I was afraid it wouldn't fit together as planned if I did it myself.
I think giving up the $25 discount to have them do the wiring and installation was well worth it.

I'm thinking about asking them for a custom job in the economy series - the more open rack style is just what I need for this application, but the box size I want is one nobody uses (well, nobody makes racks for, anyway). I'll let you know how it turns out, if I go that route

I actually have this rack in the front room of my house. I am for now keeping my BP's away from my Boas. But, the room is at the same temp as the rest of my house, 78f.
