incubating below 80?

I was not planning on breeding this year. A couple of my leos decided differently, however, and I harvested 4 eggs the other day. I have not set up my incu, nor did I really plan to. Can I keep them at room temp? Of course it would take forever, if it's not too cold and they die. My house is really never below 70, and that will raise gradually as the season changes.

That should be fine, as long as temp changes are gradual. I used to incubate my eggs on a shelf in my closet, and had no problems hatching eggs. Good luck.

Thank you Kelli! About how long would I be looking at? over 2 months?

Yes, it would take more than 2 months to hatch eggs at temps below 80. Upper 70's take about 75 days if I recall correctly.

OK, so at the low 70s I'd be looking at closer to 3 months. Looks like I'll be getting some very late in the season babies. Thanks again Kelli!
