Wagler's Viper Feeding

I was just wondering if anyone with Wagler's vipers feed them anything other than rats and mice.
Their natural food is mainly frogs (from what I can find) and I was just thinking if feeding my Wag some green tree frogs would be a viable alternative.
She seems to spend alot of time on the "ground" in her cage, and I was thinking something is wrong, so..... I thought feeding her rats does stop them up so maybe she could use some "natural" type food.
What do you guys think?

Try house geckos for them, alot of the wags ive seen being fed can be switched to f/t mice and rats, but some will want nothing to do with it, native foods for them would be frogs and geckos, cant vouch for frogs, but house geckos really worked for me. Wags do spend time on the ground and this is normal most of the time.

They are prone to getting stopped up. Mine was already a year old when I got it and eating f/t mice. But for the 2 years ive had her ive learned some of her ways. Usually I will feed her f/t mice once a week for two or three weeks then not feed her again until she uses the bathroom. Which could be one week or one month later (all depends on her). The main cause of constipation in the wagler's is overfeeding or dehydration. Soak her once a week on top of her ocassional mistings. I usually soak mine for a couple hours or so. Sometimes she doesn't drink much, sometimes she drinks a ton. Other than the normal husbandry, food, and water, the only other think that would make them go to the ground would be temp. They do great in the mid 70's to high 70's. Which you may know already.
