Kingsnakes descending from the Tampa area of Florida are known to be some of the most beautiful anywhere. Unfortunately, they have apparently disappeared in the wild, with the last known specimen being found around 2006. Luckily, we have been able to maintain a small colony of adults. Those snakes have bred sporadically for us over the years. This male is an extra holdback from our group. He is already quite speckled and can be expected to lighten even more with age. He is feeding on f/t mice.
