Hello, as of late my 8 y/o leopard gecko female has been acting very concerning to me...for the past few months she has had off and on bubbles behing her front legs (i heard these arnt harmful) and since ive put her into her new 40 gallon cage shes had some trouble eating....the last time she ate was a week ago however tonight there was something truly concerning....first off she had VERY rapid and jagged movements as i held her in my hands and her heart rate SKY ROCKETED..this is the first time ive actually been concerned about her health....it doesnt look like she has MBD since she doesnt have rubbery limbs but idk what else it could be .

I would recommend finding a local exotic animal vet and bringing the animal to them. When it comes to diagnosing problems like what you are describing, these really is no better solution.

I did a quick search for exotic animal vets in Everett, WA and found a few that offer care for reptiles. I have provided a link below and hope this helps.

From your description it sounds like she's freaked out about her new enclosure. The bubbles behind her front legs are fat and vitamin deposits and an indication she may be overweight. If so, going off feed for a while won't harm her. When you picked her up was she thrashing due to stress? Did she attempt to bite or get away?

I've had leopard geckos not eat for an entire month and not lose any weight. It sounds like she's adjusting to her new enclosure and she can't handle that and you holding her at the same time.
