Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

it m ight be a bit of a late night. one of my males has prolapsed. i got him in sugar water and we will see if that works otherwise ima have to pull out the preperation H damit

update... sugar water helped a bit... put the a-hole creme on and it seems to be working well. we will see how he is in the morning

Man, I sure hope he is going to be ok. That used to happen to my Tegus once in a while. Make sure you keep that are moistened. And, Good Luck!

I never even thought about the Prep-H.
Can you post pics at all Robin? Just for my learning experience.

Don't forget the sugar-water has to be almost like syrup to be most effective, and he should be soaked several times a day for at least 10-15 minutes. You can also use Karo syrup applied with a Q-tip.

Aww… poor little guy. Hope he’s ok Robin. My males have never had a prolapse but that has to be stressful. Keep us updated on his condition.
Preparation H and and Karo syrup? Wow, never heard of those being used. I’ll have to file that in the 'things to know category'.

well as of this morning it is almost completely retracted. i will clean it later and then reapply the a-hole creme... i have no kayro syrup here... i dont bake but we do have preperation H...
