NEW PHOTOS:
These were taken just a few days ago on Sunday, Dec 9th, 2018. As we do not like marking/numbering the carapaces with toxic substances, only sample photos will be posted of our animals. Numbering may be used for shipping purposes only if needed for a large order.

DEC/JAN OFFER:
Due to colder weather in parts of the US and congested Christmas shipping, it would be safer to wait for your special delivery early next year. We are offering a $100 discount to all tortoises reserved with a 50% deposit during December 2018 and January 2019. Mid and North areas: balance will be due in February 2019 and your order will be shipped in the spring (March). Southern states can expect shipping to be earlier.

PROSPECTIVE ALDABRA OWNERS:
Aldabra tortoises are really special creatures. They are friendly, gentle giants, (even more so as they get older and as they get to know their owners well). Not only are they a great investment, but also a remarkable heirloom pet that can be cared for by many generations in a family. What an amazing gift to enjoy!

These Aldabra tortoises will travel far away from their origins in the tropics and hence require a warm and loving forever home. 'Forever' for an Aldabra can be well over 150 years! Please be aware that they will grow very large, (living quarters will have to be enlarged accordingly), they can live a long life, and will require a lot of food as well as a temperature/humidity controlled environment. If you feel that husbandry costs may become a burden in the future, please reconsider your choice of pet. Where these baby tortoises go to live eventually is very important to us! :-)
