I have a cage from Repti-Racks as well. Never once had a problem with it. The delivery driver even put it to the test for me by dropping it on my stone walkway. Not a scratch, so great job packing that thing Steve!

As far as contacting him, I had maybe one or two short emails that I sent, and they were answered in a very timely manner.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another cage from Steve. In fact that would be the first place I'd look if I needed another one.

This really did turn into a good guy thread!! I emailed Steve a while back on the wait time and he responded within minutes. I was too impatient to wait the 8 weeks, but he seems more than willing to help you out whenever necessary!

Also the OP just sounds regretfull and trying to nag at Steve for whatever she can.

Wow, Steve Im so impressed with you keeping your cool through all this. The OP is a retard. You were very patient and did nothing but try and resolve their issues. If anything, their attempt at badmouthing you has simply created another customer for you I hope to order a couple cages from you within the next few months Thanks for showing yourself to be a top-notch stand up guy!

I normally don't comment on these threads but I have to this time. I have seen several of your cages and have been very impressed with them. I am looking to buy a couple very soon as a matter of fact so I really paid attention on this post. I have to say that I will side with Repti-racks on this one. First off I think it looks pretty bad when all other cages I have seen have been fine. Now a person that the name doesn't match wants to complain and then upon reading closely they start out saying at first they have been in the herp world for 25 years and then on page 5 state 15 years. If you are gonna try to bad mouth someone keep the story straight. Keep up the great work on the cages and look for my order soon.

I've also bought from Steve at Repti-Racks... About $3k worth of caging so far and I've never had a problem with bowing or anything... I also have some large boas and retics in the cages and still no issues...

Steve has always been great and even when backed up with a lot of orders, has always kept me updated on my order status and worked with me for pickup considering I drive 2 hours to pick them up...

I'm sure I could look and maybe see a bolt starting to get rusty, but that comes with any caging or any hardware that isn't coated... If I ever have that issue, I have no problem buying my own coated nuts and bolts if they ever need replaced...

For the price and convenience of local pickup, I think all the business I've done with Steve has been great

I have also bought cages from Steve and met him personally. He's one of the good guys in the business- great product and stands by it.

Sounds like the customer who started this thread needed a little drama in his/her life...

Steve- nobody needs 'customers' like these... they're just way too high-maintenance... nothing you do will make them happy.

I'd like to point out that this couple, Courtney and her husband Gary, run this website

http://www.theboahouse.com/current-projects.html

They recently acquired a "rescue" boa from a group of four off craigslist, as well as a handful of Dumeril's boas. They have NOT practiced proper quarantine AT ALL and are breeding FOR PROFIT from these craigslist animals.

This is the thread they made about finding them on Craigslist. She also posts that she's been waiting for her repti racks so she had to house multiple snakes together.
