Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Can crickets do serious damage to a larger Savannah Monitor?
My Sav is about 2.5 feet, I was going to feed him some crickets from the Exo Terra cricket holder, when I put the tube in and tapped, 30 or 40 crickets came out, I know crickets bite, and can stress the animal, does this apply to a large monitor? If so, what’s the most efficient way to kill or remove them. He is hunting, although he is rather clumsy, I don’t want to put him under so much stress. Any help is appreciated.
