I got my first torts in the mid 80's and I can say that all the babies but a very few that I raised to maturity since I started temp sexing were exactly what I expected them to be. I've had more luck predicting females than males. Maybe I've just been lucky for 30 years

From what I have read temp sexing is very accurate.

You are correct, Teresa. If performed correctly, it usually is. I think Ricky's ad has been clotted with more than enough side conversation, though, so I am hoping it can return to being an ad.

Lance,

As Ricky pointed out they are temperature sexed. This is an industry standard term that has been used for almost 30 years as a result of many lab studies on incubation temperature's affect on sex. As Ricky pointed out, it is not 100% but the odds are improved at sexing. If you have an issue with the term, take it up with the industry and all past lab data.
