Getting best color from Dragon with lights

Could be a shed?

Possibly!! It has crossed my mind. Not sure the last time he shed. I'll check with the breeder to see.

I was told he hasn't shed in a while but he's 2 yrs old so will he shed often?

I asked people and lots say it's a different Dragon others say it's just in shed.

Without a doubt in my mind the guy sent you the wrong dragon. I'd be getting my money back.

A dragon's color can change drastically when they are stressed, and stress can last quite a while when they go to a new home. This doesn't happen to all dragons, but it does to some. Also, do you know if the pics he sent you were current, because if not he could be heading in to a shed. Another thing, if the dragon was under a hot lamp + the pic was taken with flash the color could be intensified. You mentioned that it has a toe nip, so if you look at it in the pic and compare it with the toe nip that he has, is it the exact same ? That would be a good indicator of whether it really is the same dragon.

Thanks for the replies. I think it was stress without a doubt. Moved him to our bedroom and one day walked in and he was bright orange with awesome purple sidebars. He did go into a shed as well. I've had dragons before but never had one change that drastically in color
