Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

There are distinct Sandfire bloodlines. Bob was the man that started the red phases in the early 1990's. I was very lucky to meet his veterinarian Rick A. as the red phase was being developed by Bob M..Rick had acquired a good size group of sub adults and adults from Bob that he sold to me very early in the development stages of the red phase dragons.
Funny thing about that group of reds is that they all were missing tails, toes, legs. they bred and bred and bred. it was so cool keeping dragons back then as not many people had them.

A true micro leather is a visual recessive leather on top of a visual italian or american leatherback. I attached a pics of micro and a rec. leathers. Micros also have wrinkly skin on their torso. There is a lot of mis-representation out there. I'm seeing a lot of grey dragons sold as "silver".

so a micro scaled would be more of a visual het for leather then a true leather
im not to well versed in dragon morphs but i was under the impression that a co dom or dom gene wouldnt have hets just recessive traits would have hets
if thats the case the wouldnt all non leather dragons in leather breeding have a chance to produce leathers or if bred with a leather could produce silks
but as for colors im seeing alot of different things like lavender, green, purple, silver and i really dont know what to think of alot of them not to say they are not nice looking dragons but alot seems to be very exaggerated but then again i guess thats advertising lol

There are both recessive leathers and co-dom leathers available.

ED's right, there are both codominant and recessive leathers. Recessive leathers only have a smooth torso. The rest of the body has regular(wild type) spiny scales.
Micro leathers are created the same way as a trans leather or hypo leather. Hypo and trans are recessive traits, like the recessive leather.
